I.           Minutes of July Branch Meeting.  J. LeVally.  Approved as read.

 

II.          Secretary Reports.  R. Santavicca.

 

  1.       Communications.  Thank you notes from C. Booth, The Stephenson Family and

                                    Friends of the Homeless.

 

  2.       Reports of Stranding Committees.

 

  1.       Education.  R. Solt.   Retiree Seminar August 27.  8:00 PM.  MDA Telethon needs

                                                Volunteers.  Announced that Rocco had been elected to  

                                                State Board.

 

  2.       Law Committee.  Absent

 

  3.       Retiree Committee.  Absent

 

  4.       Health/MBA.  R. Kirk.  No Report

 

  5.       Public Relations.  Absent.  President announced that the golf outing made $2763.40                                               and thanked all those who volunteered.    Retiree Picnic

                                                October 4, 2003 Berwick party House.  Social hour at 6PM,

6.         Safety/Health.  T. Snyder.  Get dog cards in case.  Is being sent to Philadelphia for

                                                training on new safety program.

 

7.         Social-Rec.  Y. Miller.  Multi-Cultural Fair on Aug. 24 at City Gate.  Keep Recycling. 

                                                Main Office need containers for empty cans.

 

IV.        Treasurer Report.  B. Pagano.  No Questions. 

 

V.         Regional Asst.  D. Gulley.  NALC Count On Me Sign-ups.  Commission Report has                                    been Published.  Some very bad guidelines.

VII.                   New Business.  Membership Pins given to New Members.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

VIII.       Good Of The Association. 

 

 

   1.      Route Inspections.  Consistent Overtime warrants a special Inspection.  June, July

                                    August are not good months because of light mail volumes.

 

 

  2        Carl Labonte Jacket raffle tickets on sale at Branch Picnic.

 

  3.       B. Sutherland Suggest to set up information booths at fairs and festivals and trade shows.   Board will discuss.
