Safety and Health: Tony Snyder reported that Lloyd Dalton is checking on the washing of the vehicles. They are to be sprayed out inside as well as out. Several people asked that the cleaners cover the seats before they spray as many do not. Since warmer weather is coming, start using your DOG WARNING cards.

Treasurer’s Report read by Bill Pagano.

Two leather jackets secured by Carl Demko will be raffled off. The proceeds will go to the One New Toy program. The tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. One is a USA and one is a OSU. Tentatively the drawing for the jackets is scheduled for the Branch picnic. Ticket sales will determine if both will be raffled at the picnic, June 23rd.

New Business: Since the DC trip is just around the corner it is time to start collecting for COLCPE in your stations, whether you have 50/50 drawings, bake sales or whatever, get started. Artie Armstrong is in charge of contacting the Stewards about COLCPE collections.

City wide, there has been a problem with the letters coming in the flats. This has been put to Management but nothings been done to correct it. Also, more flats are coming without the contents. Probably because they’re using old equipment at City Gate, Couldn’t take the time to install the new equipment.

R.A.A. Report: Vince having the Executive Board meeting in DC this week as well as negotiating meeting. Doug emphasized the importance of COLCPE, would like to see us back at the top of the state in contributions like we used to be. Health benefit plan picked up approximately 500 new enrollees during open season. Volumes down and the Service might be right about losing revenue. Get down here for the route inspection seminars, the more informed you are, the better you will do on the inspection. MAKE SURE YOU ACCOUNT FOR ALL NON-CASING TIME.
