Branch Meeting
January Branch Zoom Meeting can be accessed HERE. If everything is setup correctly, you will only need to register once for the branch meetings for the next year. You’ll then be able to add the meetings to your personal calendar for easy access.
To join the meetings however, you will need to make sure your First and Last name are part of your logon otherwise you will not be allowed into the meeting.
Virtual Retirement Seminar
Region 11 business agent Mark Camilli's office will be hosting two upcoming retirement seminars. They will be done virtually. Please contact the union hall if you would like to attend. Space is limited. You will have to provide a valid email address and a smartphone or computer (with Audio and video).

Branch Meeting - Officer & Delegate Nominations
Nominations for Branch officers & delegates will be presented.
I would like you all to take a moment at the next Plan 5 meeting at your station to explain the mailing about the Branch 78 Election that went out to all members. The Branch election will be taking place in December, and nominations for Delegate/Officer are currently taking place. Nominations are being accepted now through the General Branch Meeting on 10/14/20.
There are 3 ways a member in good standing can be nominated for Officer Positions and/or Delegate to State and National Conventions.
1. Nomination via mailing: Have a member of Branch 78 (including yourself) nominate you via the Delegate/Officer Nomination form contained in the mailing and posted on the Branch 78 website. Those wishing to nominate via Delegate/Officer Nomination form will need to fill out the form, (write their own name as “Nominated by,” if self-nominating,) and return the form to the Secure Ballot Box at the Union Hall prior to the October Branch Meeting on 10/14/20.
2. Nominated in person: Have a member of Branch 78 (including yourself) nominate you at the in-person Branch Meeting at the Union Hall on 10/14/20. To accept the nomination, you will be required to fill out the Delegate/Officer Nomination form, and submit the form to the Union Hall, no later than 10/29/20.
3. Nominated via teleconference: Have a member of Branch 78 (including yourself) nominate you via teleconference that is being held simultaneously during the Branch Meeting on 10/14/20. To accept the nomination, you will be required to fill out the Delegate/Officer Nomination form, and submit the form to the Union Hall, no later than 10/29/20.
